Providing mobile nursing foot care in the comfort of your own home.

Important information before booking:

  • If booking on behalf of a loved one, please book under their name/information/address. as they are the patient.
  • Address: The system does not ask for your address/location until after you book the appointment, via the emailed intake form. Please complete the emailed intake form prior to your appointment assists the nurse with preparing for the appointment and so we know where to go.

  • Insurance: Appointments may be eligible for reimbursement by insurance. We recommend speaking with your insurance provider prior to the appointment as a referral from an MD or NP may be required for coverage, or appointments may be applied to income tax. For ease with insurance providers, referral will likely need to be for “In home advanced nursing foot care” or “diabetic nursing foot care”, and your insurance company may ask it to state why you require the care.

  • Smoking/Environment: Due to the well-documented health risks associated with secondhand smoke exposure, our nurses are not permitted to provide foot care services in any home where smoking occurs indoors or where air quality is affected by smoke. This includes (but not limited to) Tobacco/Cigarette, Cannabis/Marijuana, Vapes or any other strong odour that could pose an issue. This may also include lack of adequate ventilation or lighting in the home (to provide safe care) or unsanitary conditions. Homes where smoking occurs indoors (regularly or occasionally) are not eligible for in-home foot care services, regardless of whether smoking is paused before the appointment, protect the health and safety of staff and clients, Kirsten’s Foot Care maintains a strict smoke-free environment policy for all in-home appointments. If smoke is an issue, we are happy to provide an alternative referral.
